Other Academic Fees are additional charges assessed based on enrollment. These fees support specific services or activities that incur higher costs, such as administrative processing, orientation programs, and penalty charges.

Generally, fee requests that apply to all categories of students (e.g., all international students, all undergraduate applicants, all MBA applicants) should be submitted to the Office of the Provost for preliminary review.
Please note that the list below is not exhaustive, and all proposed fees are subject to classification as Academic or Non-Academic by the Office of the Provost or ABOR. If you need help determining the appropriate fee type, please get in touch with our office.
Examples of Other Academic Fees are:
- Fees for specific student populations
- Administrative fees
- Candidacy fees
- Orientation fees
- Student service fees (e.g., Career Services)
Other Academic Fee Request Forms
All academic fee proposals—including new fees, increases exceeding the Arizona Board of Regents-approved growth rates, and modifications within approved growth rates—must be submitted using the appropriate request form with all required documentation.
- Form #10 – New Academic Fee Request (for new fees and increases exceeding approved growth rates)
- Form #11 – Academic Fee Modification Request (for changes within approved growth rates)
- Submission Deadline: August 1, 2026.
These forms require additional attachments, including the budget template, market pricing comparison, and applicable ABOR Forms.
